APPEAL FOR HELP - St Mary's Church, along with many churches, charities, businesses and people, is struggling financially in this COVID-19 period. We still have nearly all our outgoings but have lost some of our sources of income; for example, we cannot hire out our hall or use it for our own fundraising events. We realise that this is a tough time for many, but if you could make a donation, it would be very much appreciated.   Just click here to go to our giving page.

PUBLIC WORSHIP - from Sunday 2 August
Holy Communion Services   -  There will not be singing in church as not yet allowed.
9.00 am (This service will be filmed and uploaded to our website. Please say if you do not wish to be filmed.)
        10.30 am
Because of COVID-19 social distancing regulations, we regret that seating capacity is limited. The congregation have already been asked which service they would like to attend so we know we can fit them in with a few seats spare! If you are not yet on the list, but would like to attend a service, we will do our best to welcome you and find you a seat! It would be helpful if you would contact the Vicar in advance (07720 840661).

Do I have to wear a mask?    Yes -  The Government has said the wearing of masks in places of worship is now required.

ST MARY'S ONLINE SERVICE   -   We hope to make this available from 10.30 am on Sundays
Change of format -  Since lock-down, we have uploaded a pre-recorded Eucharist celebrated by our Vicar, Fr Grant Holmes, often with readings and intercessions from various members of the congregation. The congregational words and hymns with words and graphics were added from the start of May.  Now that St Mary's is re-starting public worship in church, instead of this pre-recorded service, we will make a video of the 9.00am service and upload that "as is" so it should be available to view from 10.30am.   The congregational words will not appear on the screen. Instead, you can follow the service using St Mary's service booklet.
