St Mary's is an Open Church - Open to God, Open to You

Sunday 15 August  2021 - Trinity 11

(Eleventh Sunday after Trinity)

We have now eased some restrictions and reverted to our pre-Covid pattern of Services so that the Sunday services in church are:

8.00am    Holy Communion (said)
 9.30am    Parish Communion (sung) 


Neither service will be recorded. See the Easing of Covid Restrictions flyer that explains what is happening over the next few weeks.

The Church will now be open daily for private prayer.

15th August, the Feast of the Assumption, is also one of the days when the Church celebrates the Blessed Virgin Mary.
St Mary's is keeping to the Eleventh Sunday of Trinity as we celebrate the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Patron Saint, on another of the special Mary days - 8 September. This year we will keep our Patronal Festival on Sunday 12 September.

 Church of England - from 9.00 am

Join Revd Canon Abi Thompson as she preaches on  Mary who courageously said ‘yes’ to God. Mary who was the first to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Mary who shared her humanity with the Saviour of the World.
